I steared at the fire for a few minutes before I understood the picture. I don't see any fire in it because it's flaming behind those logs. Interesting shot, a little spooky too!

@Marilla: I also thought it a bit spooky... lol! Another result of boredom... I switched off all the lights and started taking photos of the fire... No editing was done to this... :)
So a warm and inviting photo, I'm already on !!!!

@Garfield: ... nou praat jy ... niks is so lekker soos 'n ou vuurtjie nie... LOL!
Warm and nice picture, it's very nice to have a fireplace for the cold months. My grandparents had one and I remember when all the family stood around it warm in the winter.

@David Nos: I don't know why but a fireplace is so relaxing to me.
@Allan Clark: thanks
Good evening, Anina,
a wonderful warm radiance proceeds from this recording. With a lot of imagination, I'm sitting next to you and warm myself by the fire in the fireplace. Enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and to drink a cup of hot tea with honey. Dear greetings Christel

@Christel: The tea sounds very nice... :)
Idéal pour se réchauffer les mains, les pieds... et l'âme aussi !
Merci pour ce beau feu de cheminée !

Oups, sorry Anina. Just a reflex for me to write in french. Of course. Ideal to warm up hands and feet. And soul, too.
